  24. Amiga WordPerfect (final version 4.1.12) is based on the UNIX version.  It uses
  25. the same format as WP 4.2 on the PC, except for the end-of-line sequences.
  26. There are import/export options for IBM WP 4.2 as well as for plain ASCII.  Note
  27. that you may experience some difficulties exchanging files with WP 5 or later
  28. due to bugs in the PC version's conversion routines.

  30. Although there's no more support for the Amiga port (and the other small
  31. platforms), I can't help liking it.  It works, it's safe, it's relatively fast
  32. and you get to type in good ol' Topaz.

  34. Some wouldn't call the latter a `feature' but I beg to differ.  Proportional
  35. fonts are just no good for editing text, no matter how good they look in print.
